The Apostle Paul wrote "we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand and rejoice in hope of the glory of God" (Romans 8:2).
Yet even in this exalted and lovely theme of "Grace" the balance of Scripture must be followed. The grace of God is not unconditional. Philip Yancey's reasoning appeals to emotion not the sounding reasoning based on scriptures.
