Description
Author: Jason Hensley, paper back, 177 pages. Published by the author in 2009.
"This book should be on the bookshelf of every Christadelphian; but more importantly, it should perhaps be on the coffee table or bedside as it will help each of each of us as we journey to the Kingdom."
- Robert J. Lloyd (an excerpt from the preface)
This book is an introduction to that vital subject. May it serve as a source of encouragement and hope to you.
Unlocking the mystery - An introduction to God Manifestation is a new book distributed by the CSSS. The title “Unlocking the Mystery” is given because of the standard answer by Trinitarians in explaining the Trinity as a “mystery”, whereas Brother Hensley explains this answer is a cop out to avoid trying to explain the unexplainable. Brother Hensley points out that the Bible was written to explain all mysteries, and an understanding of God manifestation unlocks the “mystery” of the Trinitarian response.
This book has 8 chapters and it is written in an easy to read style. It is filled with many personal anecdotes with a touch of humour which keeps your attention and interest. There is a logical progression of topics, with much detail in the latter chapters of the work of our Lord Jesus Christ in manifesting His Father.
It is an ideal book for senior Sunday School scholars or advanced Interested Friends to help them see the simplicity of the Truth and God’s plan and purpose with the earth to fill it with His glory. Now God is calling out of the world a people for His Name, or to manifest Him and He is doing this by His Word. This book really shows how simple the Truth should be, and brother Hensley does an excellent job with his explanations with many clear quotes to show God manifestation in the Bible, yet the churches around us have muddied the clear waters by their false dogma and mysteries.
Out of all the books available on God manifestation this one is by far the simplest and most straightforward. Brother Bob Lloyd writes in the preface “This book should be on the book shelf of every Christadelphian ... as it will help each of us as we journey together to the Kingdom”. I would agree with brother Lloyd in this regard, but would add it should also be read and the clear concepts should be in the mind of every Christadelphian as we strive to manifest the Father in a world of darkness as we await for His son to sit on His throne in Jerusalem. “And the LORD shall be king over all the earth; in that day shall there be one LORD, and His name one”. Zechariah 14:9
