After an introduction on the Roman domination of Palestine and the various political and religious groups at the time, the book follows Acts from chapter 8 (Stephen's trial) to the end of chapter 28; interspersed with summaries of the epistles that Paul wrote. There is significant comment on the journeys and backgrounds to locations, but less commentary on the speeches. The book has many maps and pictures which compliment the text.
